Description: 

This work features myself ironing as I wipe away a ghost image of my face. My ghost image places her hands up in preparation as the ironer wipes away her image. Though alarmed in arm gesture, the woman makes no facial expression to indicate her impending erasure. This short video continuously loops as the action is never fully completed with the ghost image returning again and again. With this work, I am thinking about facets of identity and the precarity of an action that is never completed.
