Description: 

This work features myself continually wrapping a long braided fabric rope around my face. The building fabric gets more and more precarious as I try to add without topping what is already present. The full length of the rope in not within camera view so it is unclear to the viewer when or if the end of the rope will be found. The work ends when the end is found and the new limitations of movement are explored, ending with one last longing look to the distance.  In regards to this work, I am thinking about the desire to build comfort and safety while simultaneously creating resitrinction and discomfort.
